Voleos and Adornments
ALL LEVELS
Increase your fun and beauty by leading and following voleos and adornments.

1. Teach a low voleo, ensuring students understand the disassociation technique between the torso and leg.
2. Introduce higher voleos and adornments.
3. Advanced instruction: Dancers explore more complex adornments like circular or double voleos.
Workshop 2 (1:30-2:45)
Molinete with Apile
Discover the perfect blend of technique and elegance with this exciting sequence combining the classic molinete, stylish boleos, and a deep connection in the apile.

1. Review basic turns from a crossed position, focusing on precision and control. Use a simple molinete variation.
2. Add dynamics to the turn by introducing changes in speed and sharper-angle pivots.
3. Incorporate boleos and elegant adornments
4. Deepen your connection with your partner by incorporating "apile."
Workshop 3 (3:00-4:15)
Vals Spins and Turns
Vals is exciting for the many turns and changes of rhythm. Learn interesting entrances to valse and fun ways to sustain the vals energy.

1. **Ocho Cortado with a Turn**: Start with a basic ocho cortado, then add a variation with a turn. The leader initiates the turn while the follower changes direction on the final step.
2. *Media Luna." Use the media luna to create a circular feel. The steps flow forward and backward with a turn in each transition.
3, Fluid Molinete: Incorporate a molinete adapted to the waltz rhythm, aiming for a continuous, uninterrupted spin with smooth movements that match the 3/4 time signature.
4. **Front Change with Turn**: A great way to end the series, where the leader changes direction while executing a small turn, creating a constant, flowing rotation that perfectly suits the waltz.
