Guest Artist Workshops
Milonga Gitanos

Every month, Albany Tango hosts Milonga Gitanos, a Argentine Tango dance social open to the public. Most months we also host guest artist workshops with tango luminaries followed by the milonga with guest DJ.

This event is normally held on the 2nd Saturday of every month. (November may be 3rd Saturday.)

Monday Practica & Instruction

Monday is our day for tango practice, usually on the 3rd and 4th Monday of the month.

Monday's Practica includes a thirty minute tango lesson and 2-hour practica in one event for $10.

6:30-7:00 Introductory-level tango class
If you are a new tango dancer, this class is for you. If you are an accomplished dancer, we will encourage you to master the fundamentals.

7:00-9:00 Tango Practica
Dancers work on their steps, skills and techniques. This is also a time for dancers to dance socially.

Meets on Wednesdays in Troy, NY

Tango class featuring progressively arranged steps, skills, and drills.

7:00 Tango Basics, steps and skills for All levels
8:00 Tango Beyond Basics, steps and skills, intermediate-Advanced level

Registration: $15 one class, $20 for both
