Dynamic Technique for Close Spaces

Workshop I (12:00-1:15)
Changes of Direction & Rebounds (All Levels)
This class focuses on the technical foundations of direction changes and rebound actions as essential elements of movement quality in tango.
Participants will work on energy redirection, axis control, dissociation, and timing, developing clarity and efficiency in both leading and following.
Material is structured to be accessible to all levels, with progressive complexity, allowing dancers to refine precision, balance, and continuity of motion.

Workshop II (1:45-3:00)
Dynamics & Movement for Crowded Spaces (Intermediate)
This workshop addresses movement dynamics and spatial management required for dancing in high-density dance floors.
Emphasis is placed on compact vocabulary, energy modulation, controlled transitions, and rhythmic variation, enabling dancers to maintain expressiveness without large displacement.
Designed for intermediate-level dancers, the class develops adaptability, floor awareness, and refined control of movement.

Workshop III (3:15-4:30)
Milonga: Rhythm Variations and Dynamic Contrast (Intermediate)
This class explores the technical and musical aspects of milonga, focusing on rhythmic clarity, articulation, and stylistic consistency.
Participants will work on weight changes, pulse, timing variations, and dynamic contrast, as well as transferable tools applicable to related rhythmic forms.
Aimed at intermediate dancers, the objective is to strengthen rhythmic confidence, coordination, and musical interpretation.​​
